We are absolutely thrilled to host the exciting new exhibition curated by Kirklees Local TV in celebration of Windrush Day! (22nd June 2024)

The exhibition is a wonderful tribute to the rich history and legacy of the Windrush Generation. It showcases a vibrant collection of artworks by local artists Jake Reid and Lucy Charles, each piece beautifully reflecting the spirit, resilience, and contributions of the Windrush generation.

The exhibition also features informative banners providing a captivating historical overview of the Windrush generation. They offer fascinating insights into the journey of the Windrush pioneers, their invaluable contributions to British society, and the challenges they encountered along the way.

Best of all, the exhibition is completely free and open to the public.

Visitors of all ages are warmly invited to come and engage with the displays, taking the opportunity to reflect on the profound impact of the Windrush generation.
