Huddersfield based artist Susan Crowther's paintings on paper are inspired by the surrounding transient landscape.  Based around the changing seasons, her work reflects both rural and urban images at different times of day throughout the year.

Using mixed media, layer upon layer of inks, glue, acrylics and anything worthy of making a mark, which is then erased, scratched into and transformed from its original state. A subtle mix of materials is applied in such a way that they can appear muted or subdued and it is only on further inspection that the whole pallet reveals itself.

Come and enjoy this exhibition, available for viewing Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm at The Media Centre up until the 10th May 2024.
