Join us for a local democracy solution sharing day, with an entirely open agenda
This interactive day will be a chance to share any issues you are thinking about, hear about helpful practice from other participants, and unlock some new ideas and possibilities.
We will be harnessing the power of the Notwestminster network to:
uncover your most pressing issues for local democracy
work together on topics chosen by participants
help each participant with an issue they would like to work on
We will be using Liberating Structures to ensure the maximum energy, participation and networking. If you haven’t heard of these before, they are some simple and easy to learn methods of helping people to work together, in a way that includes everyone.
There will also be plenty of space for talking informally to local democracy friends, old and new. We wouldn’t want it any other way.
What else is on at Notwestminster?
This year’s Notwestminster is a two day event, including a Democracy Solutions Day and PechaKucha Night on the Friday and participant-led workshops, lightning talks and discussions at our Main event on the Saturday. On both days you can get advice about making the most of participatory tools and digital technology, join us for a few drinks and be part of creative activities with a distinctly democratic flavour.
