‘Onwards’ is a multi-venue music festival showcasing the unique ‘sites’ and sounds Huddersfield has to offer! Likened to a pub-crawl with music; ‘Onwards’ guides the participants on a journey of musical encounters. Utilising some of Huddersfield’s best venues and pubs. Onwards provides a much-needed opportunity to celebrate its diverse range of community and bubbling local talent.
Now in its 3rd year, Onwards 2018 is set to be the most ambitious yet. Still with a heavy emphasis on promoting and supporting local talent, this year’s line-up also includes some bands from futher afield as well. As far away as sunny Leeds and tropical Bradford!
Day tickets (wristbands) are available now priced £15, which includes entry to all events.

Onwards arrives at Cafe Ollo at 5pm with a performance from Mamilah.
Mamilah originated in Leeds in early 2017, amongst a group of musicians from all corners of the UK and Ireland.Their awareness of the commonly misused umbrella term 'Neo-Soul' for any modern R&B/Soul sparked the Mamilah flame, a flame that strives to exude a more traditional soulful blend. Inspired by artists such as Judith Hill, Stevie Wonder, Nubian Twist and Aretha Franklin, they bring a fresh twist on what it is to be soul.
