Seize the chance for a rare behind scenes look at the creative industries quarter in Huddersfield town centre.

Hear how three historic properties were re-purposed and a new environmentally friendly building constructed to support business growth, employment opportunities and talent development in the creative and digital sectors. Three of the buildings now accommodate office units, co-working facilities, meeting and conference rooms, event and exhibition space, reception and café. The fourth property is the Grade II Listed former Mechanics Institution (1859-1861) which has been converted to live–work units. Tours are available in September on Thursday 6th at 10.30 a.m. and Friday 14th at 2.30 p.m., lasting around 90 minutes. Places are limited, and must be booked at the Visitor Information Point, Huddersfield Library.
