Do you have an online presence for your work as an artist, arts organisation or creative business? Do you wonder how search engines like Google and Bing decide which information to show? Would you like some tips on what you can do to help your information or events come up in search engines?
Then come to this Creative Kirklees event and hear from John Paul Drake at Attercopia about how you can improve your online presence, how Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) works and about the work Kirklees Council have been doing over the last year to help the Creative Kirklees website get picked up more by search engines (SEO is activity that ensures a website can be found in search engines for words and phrases relevant to what the site is offering and what people are looking for).
If you have a profile and add events to Creative Kirklees you can find out how you can organise and upload your information better to help it be picked up by search engines and if you have your own website you’ll pick up tips on ways to encourage people to link to your website.
And while you’re here, it will be a chance to meet and chat to other artists and creatives using Creative Kirklees. Tea and coffee will be provided and other refreshments will be available to purchase from Cafe Ollo.
