The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the most important change in data privacy regulation in 20 years and will come into force on 25 May 2018. The regulation is designed to harmonize data privacy laws across Europe, to protect and empower citizens data privacy and to reshape the way organisations approach the collection, management and disposal of private data.
