To celebrate the cafe exhibition, composition of happiness, the media centre invites two internationally acclaimed acts. This event is supported by Pro Helvetia, Octopus Collective, The Media Centre and ame.
the Geneva based duo, continues his exploration of simplification and rational rituality, and presents a couple a work tighted together by strict sonic or structural principles. Highly detailed textures, repeated gestures, soft tones, febrile pulses and acoustic hyper-sensibility.

In ‘Sistere’ (https://mappa.bandcamp.com/album/sistere), the two pieces are played live, over a background recording, which is a technic we used also on the previous pieces, creating doubt of perception. We wanted to get back to “real” instruments and work with their natural sound, but still keep them in an electroacoustic field of listening and making audible very small changes in the sounds.“
